NEXT-GENERATION AMBROSE SET FOR KARTING DEBUT
A NEXT-GENERATION Ambrose is set to take to the track when the current Coronavirus pandemic eases.
Marcos Ambrose has told the On the Grid Podcast that his 14-year-old daughter Tabitha has ‘the need for speed’, with plans to go Karting when circuits can be accessed once again.
“My daughter is 14, she’s got a need for speed and we’ve bought her a go-kart,” Ambrose said.
“We were going to race her across the winter but Covid has slowed those plans a little bit – you can’t even get to a kart track if you can believe that.
“We’ve just got to wait and be patient, but she’s done quite a bit of practice and she’s going great.. We’ll have a bit of fun – no pressure, let her and enjoy it and see where it goes from there.
“There’s no pressure or excitement from me, she’s made her own decision, I’m fortunate enough to buy her a go kart and have a go and see how she goes.”
