Huge interest in STUTT’FEST 22 event
MORE than 170 expressions of interest have been received by the team behind the exciting new STUTT’FEST Porsche three-day Motorsport Festival to be held in January next year.
The three-day festival celebrating all things Porsche will be held at Winton Raceway between January 14-16, 2022 and will cater to anything sporting the famous Porsche badge.
STUTT’FEST will include a mixture of competitive on-track events and a host of off-track activities including a Concours, show ‘n shine, displays, tours around the local regions and much more.
Organisers have targeted an early November date to officially open entries for all aspects of the event.
“We knew there was going to be interest in STUTT’FEST ’22 but the level of support we have received so far has been overwhelming,” Event Manager Jodi Zylstra said.
“In one week after announcing the event we have received more than 170 expression of interest forms from an incredibly diverse array of Porsche owners, racing teams, industry personalities and more.
“The level of interest has been fantastic and has enabled us to really focus on the final make-up of the racing categories that will make up the on-track component. As such, regulations are currently in the approval process and as soon as they are locked in, we will be opening entries.
“To suit the festival vibe, we’ve also had significant interest from vendors looking to be involved in the trade area too.
“We’re encouraging people to get in touch now with as much detail as possible to ensure that we can tailor the event to suit everyone.
“If it’s got a Porsche badge, it can be there and It’s all pointing to an incredible event at Winton Raceway next January.”
Prospective entrants are encouraged to submit their expression of interest form and join the STUTT’FEST ’22 Mailing List via the event’s official website; www.stuttfest.com.au.
On-track categories will include multiple classes for Porsche’s popular GT3 Cup car, 944 Challenge, IROC Challenge, GT and Sports cars, 911 Turbos and heavily modified vehicles, Group N / S Historic cars and regularity / speed events.
Those interested in participating in the off-track activities, be it the show ‘n shine or as a vendor, are also encouraged to get in touch now.
