Stars Rise for Vic Enduro
The big guns from the karting scene combined with some key figures from the circuit racing scene, as Todd Road played host to the annual Shamick Go Kart Club of Victoria Enduro meet.
Topping the notable folks on the entry list was Nick Percat, fresh from a podium at Adelaide, Jordan Boys, Josh Fife, Elly Morrow, Trent Harrison, Glenn Wood, Conor Somers, and Tim Monte, amongst many.
For the record, after 4.5 hours and 278 laps of racing, Declan Somers and Jace Lindstrom led home Harrison Hoey and Sam Houston, ahead of Bradley Jenner and Percat.
The Junior preliminaries also packed in good fields for their own enduro races, with the second-generation Tander and Kelly stars of the future thrown into the mix.
The Cadet 9/Cadet 12 one hour was a corker, with William Calleja heading home Riley Harrison and Ewan Anderson, while in KA3, Max Walton, James Anagnostiadis and Xavier Avramides were split by a single second after 90 minutes of competition.
