Brisbane Motor Museum Sneak Peak
The long wait is finally over – the Brisbane Motor Museum opens at 10am on Friday, and it is set to be an instant hit.
We initially uncovered the project on these pages back in January, with the team subsequently putting a massive effort into perfecting the venue and curating a cracking initial lineup of vehicles.
In a nod to art gallery-styled rotating displays, the Brisbane Motor Museum will regularly feature new showcases, ensuring the venue will be a continual focal point for enthusiasts into the future.
The dynamic display cycle is slated to cover various topics dedicated to specific marques, themes or car clubs.
Located on the northside of the Queensland capital at 959 Nudgee Road at Banyo, just around the corner from Triple Eight Race Engineering’s HQ, the museum promises to showcase all aspects of the motoring spectrum, from classics to contemporary.
The project is the realisation of a dream for noted motoring enthusiast Col Galley, with the displays split over two levels.
The museum also features function and meeting areas for car clubs, a cafe, a specialist motoring library and giftshop.
Complete with 30 undercover car parks, the venue continues to accept expressions of interest from people looking to display their vehicle, artwork or memorabilia.
The Brisbane Motor Museum is open Friday and Saturday 10am to 5pm, and on Sunday from 8am to 3pm, with full details available on its website.
