A TWO-EVENT ‘City to the Mountain pass’ is a highlight among key ticketing packages to have gone on sale today for the pair of huge, internationally themed Shannons SpeedSeries rounds to be held in New South Wales this November.

Priced at just $100, the ‘City to the Mountain pass’ allows access to five full days and two nights of high-level motorsport at both Race Sydney at Sydney Motorsport Park (3-4 November) and the Supercheap Auto Bathurst International at Mount Panorama (10-12 November).

Both events feature the Australian debut of the Kumho TCR World Tour, which will return the stars and cars of international Touring Car racing to Australia, along with a packed program of on and off-track activity planned for both events.

Single-day tickets are available for both Saturday and Sunday, while campsites at Sydney Motorsport Park are available for just $50 with a valid event ticket.

Tickets to the second annual Supercheap Auto Bathurst International are also on sale, with a three-day adult pass on offer for just $75.

Liam Curkpatrick – COO, Australian Racing Group
“Working with our partners at the ARDC and the Bathurst Regional Council, we have been able to price our ticket packages this year to make sure both events are as accessible for fans as possible.

“The $100 ticket for both events represents incredible value for money given the quality and quantity of racing that will unfold across the five days and two nights at each event.

“The Friday-night access ticket for Race Sydney is a great concept that we hope will encourage people to come down to Sydney Motorsport Park after work or school to see TCR, Trans Am and a strong program of support categories racing under lights.

“The single day and weekend passes for both Race Sydney and the Bathurst International are competitively priced and we are looking forward to making both events the most fan-friendly, accessible motorsport events of the year.”

Michael Smith – Director of Motorsport & Commercial Operations, Motorsport Australia
“We’re looking forward to a huge two weeks of racing at two of the most iconic NSW motorsport venues in November,” Smith said.

“This will be an outstanding opportunity to end this year’s Shannons SpeedSeries on a high with some amazing ticketing options for people eager to see two-weekend events back-to-back.

“The international component of both of these events will also add plenty of excitement to what will be a very strong weekend of racing across all categories, including the highly anticipated TCR World Tour rounds here in Australia.”

Benjamin Ward – Managing Director, Supercheap Auto
“This year marks the second running of the Supercheap Auto Bathurst International, and we’re proud to be the naming rights partner of this spectacular event.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming the best touring car drivers and teams from around the world as part of the World TCR Tour, while also crowning the 2023 Supercheap Auto TCR Series champion.

“There’s plenty of international flavour on track in addition to TCR with TransAm, Touring Car Masters, V8 Touring Cars, Australian Production Cars, Porsche Sprint Challenge, and iconic open wheelers.

“Off-track fan activations will also provide plenty of fan entertainment, including the Supercheap Auto Clubhouse and the Hot Wheel Stunt Team.

“Our history and love for Mount Panorama is as strong as ever, and we know it’s matched by the fans. That’s why we want to support the community with free-Friday access as part of the Supercheap Auto Community Day initiative.

“Thank you to the Australian Racing Group, Motorsport Australia and the Bathurst Regional Council for all their work to put together a SUPER Bathurst event this November.

Glenn Matthews – CEO, Australian Racing Drivers’ Club
“Sydney Motorsport Park is truly a world-class venue; our stadium lighting and multiple viewing options makes it the perfect setting for high-class international day-night racing,” said ARDC CEO Glenn Matthews.

“We have seen high demand for racing that is accessible day and night, and with tickets from just $20 plus children 12 and under free, it is also more affordable. The Camping option has proven to be unbelievably popular at SMSP now that the lights are on and the racing is longer.

“What an action-packed month for the motorsport calendar November will be.”
