Australian Sprintcar Champs Live and Free TV
Night Thunder – an Aussie Speedway TV tradition for decades, is delighted to announce that the award-winning production will cover the Australian Sprintcar Championship from Premier Speedway, Warrnambool Victoria – LIVE and FREE on 7plus.
“We’re both grateful and excited to cover this event once again after last season’s Title coverage from Perth had rave reviews,” remarked Production EP – Dean Neal.
“Special thanks to the Sprintcars Australia Speedway Australia and Premier Speedway for their courage and support.”
“The team at 7Sport are very excited about this coverage and will wrap their arms around exposing it to new and old fans – alike!”
Cross-promotion will begin in earnest around Seven’s Cricket coverages in the days ahead.
In huge news – both Australian Championship racing nights will be LIVE coverages on 7plus this summer in a huge step forward for exposure in the industry.
“As we have said before – nothing beats watching and feeling the roar of 1000-horsepower Sprintcars live and in your face,” remarked Night Thunder EP Dean Neal. “Seven have loved the content and are keen to grow the exposure eastwards.”
“The cross promotional benefits and exposure-profile lift for the sport with this relationship with the Seven Network cannot be underestimated.”
From a Sprintcars Australia point of view – they are equally excited.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to grow the prestige and awareness of the Australian Sprintcar Championship,” remarked Executive Officer Matt Cross.
“This is a huge opportunity for the sport and to help create even more excitement around an event with so much history.”
“Sprintcars Australia (SCCA) is dedicated to investing in the development of the sport and fostering heightened interest, not just among the current fan base but also by connecting with the broader public, expanding the appeal of the sport to a wider audience,” stated President Kathy Kelly.
Make no mistake, this is a full production commitment with the standard expected to meet or exceed the levels of production already set to rave reviews so far from the Perth Motorplex events.
“As everyone is aware, this won’t be just a simple live stream, once again we will dig into the Night Thunder archives at Seven for great retro content, dig deeper with the teams and explain aspects of the sport,” remarked Neal.
“Also we will deliver Highlight Shows of the event to be aired on 7mate.”
A new fresh graphics package has been developed in-conjunction with well-known Supercars provider Girraphic and has been received to rave reviews, plus stylised content to further excite and elevate.
“Special thanks also to our amazing broadcast partner – the Seven Network in making Speedway TV on a national broadcaster a possibility.”
