Early Bird Discount Now Available for Motors & Masterpieces Festival
Motors and Masterpieces, Australia’s most anticipated motoring extravaganza, has launched special early bird discounted ticketing, with the event set to take over the Melbourne Showgrounds from November 22-24.
By using the code EARLYBIRD at the checkout on the official online ticket portal at motorsandmasterpieces.com, until the 30th of September, visitors can lock in a 15% discount off the standard gate prices of day pass tickets, with the exception of tickets providing access to the VIP lounge and Cocktail party.
“As we inch closer to the inaugural Motors and Masterpieces, things are really coming together to make it the must-see motoring showcase of 2024,” said Carlos Piteira, Event Promoter, Motors and Masterpieces.
“From many fantastic car and motorcycle Concours entries to general display vehicles, car club displays, entries in our Art and Photography Competition, and support from the automotive industry in the form of exhibitors, all of the facets are truly gaining momentum.
“We know that many enthusiasts have circled Motors and Masterpieces on their calendars, and through our early bird ticket pricing, they can lock in a genuinely reduced rate, providing unbeatable value.”
The event will bring together the best-in-breed examples from across the motoring spectrum, with display sections split along ten distinct theme lines.
The Golden Age leads the roll call, showcasing the earliest days of the motoring age, while High Society includes premium examples from the 1930s and ‘40s.
La Dolce Vita, meanwhile, encompasses premium Italian cars and motorcycles from the 1950s through the 1980s, while similarly, Swinging London features favourites from post-war British motoring.
Continental Classics will showcase the best of the rest of Europe, while California Dreaming will draw together the big American iron from the 1950s through to the ‘70s.
Closer to home, Great Southern Land will focus on the finest examples produced on Australian shores, while Tokyo Lights will draw together classics from the Japanese scene.
Rounding out the themes, Monaco Glitz will be home to the latest and greatest hypercars from across the globe, while Chequered Flag will highlight the finest examples from the theatre of competition.
Awards on offer include the coveted Best of Show, as well as for the various Class winners, a Preservation Award, a Young Achiever Award for owners under 30, the Spirit of Motors and Masterpieces Award, and the highly sought-after People’s Choice Award.
The Concours classes will uphold a cut-off date of 1993 for eligibility, ensuring a showcase of timeless classics, while Modern supercars, as part of Monaco Glitz, will not be bound by the 1993 cut-off, however, the class will be excluded from the Best of Show award.
Entries for the Concours section and general vehicle display areas are currently filling fast, with expressions being taken via the Motors and Masterpieces website at motorsandmasterpieces.com.
This year’s event will also introduce the inaugural Car Art and Photography Competition, celebrating the “Classic Motoring Movement.” First-place prizes of $4,000 will be awarded in both divisions, while runners-up will each receive $1,000.
Elsewhere, the Motors and Masterpieces Charity Auction is currently accepting donations, with all proceeds going to the event’s official charity partner, Challenge, to support children and families living with cancer.
Conducted by leading auction house Donington Auctions, all items will be displayed throughout the festival, and the final auction will be held online.
Additionally, expressions for automotive industry trade stands are currently being taken, with the event set to draw thousands of enthusiasts from around the country.
