The Victorian State Race Series Inc is thrilled to announce its partnership with Trico Products Australia, as they become naming rights corporate partner for the 2025 VSRS season.

This exciting collaboration confirms Trico’s fledgling support of Australian grassroots motorsport, and will see them as title sponsor of the five-event series that visits Sandown Raceway, Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit and Calder Park Raceway over the course of this year.

As a leader in automotive wiper blade technology, Trico Products Australia is proud to throw its support behind the VSRS, Australia’s premiere state-based circuit racing competition showcasing the best in local racing talent.

Trico APAC Sales Manager, Adam Rickard, acknowledged that it was the down-to-earth VSRS community that made it a natural decision to sign on for 2025.

“Since joining the VSRS as a corporate partner for the final two rounds in 2024, we were blown away by the engagement from the VSRS community.” Said Rickard.

“Instantly, we were made to feel welcome in the VSRS paddock, and the sheer number of competitors, officials and volunteers who walked up to our stand, introduced themselves, purchased our products and thanked us for our support was an overwhelmingly positive experience.

“With five-rounds of action in store for 2025, it was a natural evolution and clear decision for us to sign on as naming rights partner, and we cannot wait to see you trackside for all the exciting racing coming our way this year.”

Chair of the VSRS organising committee, Paul Zsidy, was equally enthusiastic about the relationship, noting that it comes off the back of several years’ effort to enhance the promotion and commercial potential of the VSRS.

“Ever since joining the VSRS committee, evolving our commercial and promotional posture was one of my main objectives.” Said Zsidy.

“We have benefitted from the generous support of several corporate partners over the last few years, but this announcement with Trico marks a significant milestone within the enduring legacy of the Victorian State Race Series.

“There has been a significant amount of work in the background to piece this together, and to see it come to life makes me proud, but more so excited for what’s in store with five-rounds of racing action coming in 2025.”

The VSRS is a Motorsport Australia-endorsed state-level circuit racing competition, enabling and bringing together the best local circuit racing talent for more than 50-years.

Preparations are well underway for Round 1 at the historic Sandown Raceway, February 14-16, which will feature all races broadcast live and free, on Blend Line TV.

Entries are open, and all VSRS competitors and interstate visitors are encouraged to register their interest via the Event Entry portal on the Motorsport Australia website.

Round 1: Sandown Raceway – February 14-16

Round 2: Calder Park Raceway – March 28-30

Round 3: Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit – May 16-18

Round 4: Sandown Raceway – August 22-24

Round 5: Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit – October 3-5
