TFH Steps Up

TFH Hire Services has grown its involvement in the Trico Trans Am Series, with the company signing on as an official series partner, joining a growing number of blue-chip brands involved with the class.

The Australian-owned business is a specialist in temporary fence hire and hire equipment for construction, events, and civil projects, having grown its involvement across multiple motorsport classes in recent years.

All cars competing in the seven-round series will carry branding on both front guards and the rear window, extending upon TFH Hire Services’ first foray into sponsorship of the class, which commenced with the Bathurst and Adelaide events at the end of the 2024 season.

The series’ backing follows TFH Racing’s success last season, with team driver Todd Hazelwood claiming overall championship honours in his maiden Trans Am campaign.

While the squad’s first foray into the category came in 2023 with a lone entry for Josh Thomas, the team expanded to three cars last season.

Hazelwood is set to return to the outfit to defend his title this year, with the Bathurst 1000 winner set to lead an expanded operation, with its complete driver roster to be unveiled in the coming days.

For TFH Hire Services, partnering with the Trans Am Series is a natural progression.

“It’s great that we are able to grow with the Trans Am Series in what is shaping up to be a massive year for the class,” said Brett Thomas, TFH Hire Services CEO.

“We have been in motorsport for a long time now, and since becoming involved in circuit racing, it’s clear that Trans Am has a lot of momentum behind it.

“Obviously, the on-track product is very competitive, but off-track, it’s very professionally run, it visits some major events throughout the year, and there is fantastic camaraderie within the competitor ranks.

“We can’t wait for the season to kick off and see the series continue to grow.”

The Trico Trans Am Series launches with Hi-Tec Oils Race Tasmania from Buckby Motors Symmons Plains Raceway from March 22-23.

Tickets for the event can be purchased at racetasmania.com.au, with kids under 12 admitted free, while park and view passes are still available.
