Later this month, United Autosports USA – 2024 IMSA Sportscar Weekend race winners, 12 Hours of Sebring podium placers and two-time polesitters – will contest the 2025 Rolex 24 at Daytona and today, the team’s full, ultra-competitive line-up of LMP2 drivers is revealed.
In the #2 ORECA 07, reigning IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar LMP2 Champion Nick Boulle will join forces with GT World Challenge Australia Pro/Am multi-race-winner and Asian Le Mans LMP2 podium placer Garnet Patterson, five-time IMSA race winner and 2020 Daytona race winner Ben Hanley (previously announced – read more) and 2022 IMSA DPi Champion, Daytona race winner and two-time Le Mans race winner Oliver Jarvis.
“Racing at the Daytona 24 Hours with United Autosports is a true dream,” Garnet Patterson said.
“I’m stoked to be making my IMSA debut driving alongside Nick and Ben for the first time, and to be teaming up with Olly again. It’s going to be a high-quality field, and I can’t wait to get out there!”
In the sister #22 ORECA 07, returning IMSA duo Daniel Goldburg and Paul Di Resta – who, together, celebrated on the Sebring 12 podium with United Autosports USA in 2024 – will team up with four-time IMSA podium placer Rasmus Lindh and 2023 Daytona race winner and two-time Le Mans LMP2 Pro/Am race winner James Allen.
“I’m incredibly excited to be driving for United Autosports in the 2025 Rolex 24 at Daytona. I always love racing in the US, especially at Daytona and United are a team who have consistently proved themselves at the front of the grid, I’m really looking forward to being a part of it,” Allen said.
Following on from an almighty showing in 2024, when the #2 car took pole position and lead the race through the night (read the race report), the United Autosports USA squad are gearing up for what is set to be a very exciting 24-hour race to kick off the 2025 season.
Richard Dean, United Autosports CEO said: “The Rolex 24 at Daytona is an incredible event and we are going there with one goal in mind – to win. We have two exceptionally strong driver line-ups in the #2 and #22 which, backed by the hard work of the United Autosports USA team, I have no doubt will deliver results to be very proud of.”
