While the German city of Stuttgart might not be on the top of everyone’s holiday hit list, there are certainly some highlights to keep motoring enthusiasts entertained.
Just down the road from the impressive Porsche Museum sits the monstrous Mercedes-Benz Museum.
The beauty of this place is that it has something for absolutely everybody – even if you aren’t into cars, the museum tells the narrative of modern society.
Starting at the top floor, you wind your way down from the very first car, through the decades, the wars, and the changes that have occurred over time.
From the car park, where significant race cars are scattered throughout the multi-level facility in glass cases, the tour concludes with an incredible display of the marque’s racing achievements.
F1 cars, the Beast Indycar, and the Popemobile. The cars of Princess Di, Ringo Starr and Jurassic Park. Plus everything else.
