NEWLY-crowned Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia Champion Callum Hedge has revealed just how close he came to losing the championship in Sunday's final race at the VAILO Adelaide 500.  A dramatic start to the deciding race of the year saw Hedge and the championship leader at the time, Jackson Walls, leap across the famous Senna chicane as they battled, nearly side-by-side. Trans Am Takes to the Streets

THE 2024 Trans Am Series calendar will conclude with an incredible season finale' at the VAILO Adelaide 500 next November.  The season finale' at one of Australia's largest motorsport events culminates a seven-round national series planned for next year set to continue the strong growth of the category into the new season. The Trans Am Series launched at the famous Adelaide Parklands Circuit in 2020 before that season was ultimately shut down due to the pandemic. That weekend, Aaron Seton won the weekend - scoring pole and winning all three races in the first ever Trans Am round in Australia.

Hedge Seals the Deal

DALE WOOD swept the weekend at the VAILO Adelaide 500 as Callum Hedge became Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia champion in dramatic fashion in the final race of the year.  It was a day of double delight for the Earl Bamber Motorsport team as Adrian Flack also sealed the SP Tools Pro-Am title in the final race of the year, adding to Hedge's win in Equity-One Pro.
