Jones Lights up the Night

THE Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia night race has gone to Harri Jones in a commanding victory under the Sydney lights on Saturday night.  Jones led home Dylan O'Keeffe and David Russell in a lights-to-flag performance to take Equity-One Pro, while non-finishes for Dale Wood and Jackson Walls could prove costly to their title hopes. In SP Tools Pro-Am, Adrian Flack continued his winning ways, leading home Rodney Jane and Matt Belford in an action-packed battle. In cold conditions, Jones made the best of the starts and charged his way to an early lead over O'Keeffe. Walls lost ground

Multi-level Karting Comes to Melbourne

Melbourne now has its own multi-level indoor karting venue, with the opening of PowerPlay Moorabbin. The concept is the brainchild of noted rally co-driver Glenn Macneall, who scouted karting facilities around the planet to source ideas for the venture. Macneall has already opened two venues in Perth, namely at Bibra Lake and Joondalup, with the company having ambitious plans to spread its wings around the country, with the potential for up to 18

The crazy race held on a freeway interchange

THIS weekend sees the 25th anniversary of the best car race we never knew about - the Aurum 1006km Enduro in the middle of absolutely nowhere, Lithuania. As such, we felt it appropriate to revisit our story, first published on July 20, 2022, that tells the story of how those crazy Eastern Europeans created a street track out of a freeway interchange.. IT’S LATE. You’re on the motorway, coming home from work, the airport, a date, whatever. There’s little traffic and the road around you is clear as you head towards your exit. Ahh yes – your exit. Not just

Porsches Primed for Night Return

THE COMPETITIVE debut of Porsche's 992 GT3 Cup Car at the fast and flowing Sydney Motorsport Park will highlight round 4 of Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia this weekend.
