Wrong Year, Wrong Name: The 1937 AGP

It was held in the wrong year and wasn’t even referred to as the Australian Grand Prix, but what we now know as the 1937 AGP from South Australia’s seaside Victor Harbor has grown in stature to become a landmark event in our motorsport history. Australian Speedway Centenary Celebrations

The Race Torque’s massive 2023 of motorsport rounded out on a high with the Australian Speedway Centenary, which was hosted at North Brisbane Speedway over two nights. Opening with the sidecars, the event was brought home on the second evening by the solos, with a world class field attracted to the event.
